wir, das bin ich Svenja Hagedorn und meine Schwester Maike, leben mit unserer Familie und unseren Hunden Shaggy, Lieschen und Bree am Rande von Mönchengladbach direkt an dem wunderschönen "Schloss Rheydt" und dem Flüsschen "Niers".

Hello,

we, that is me Svenja Hagedorn and my sister Maike, are living with our family and our dogs Shaggy, Lizzy and Bree on the outskirt of Mönchengladbach close to the castle called "Schloss Rheydt" and the small river "Niers".

Im Jahre 2005 sahen wir zum ersten Mal einen Aussie und waren so fasziniert von dieser Rasse, dass und schnell klar war: So einen möchten wir auch! Mittlerweile haben wir ein kleines Rudel bestehend aus Shaggy, dem Hahn im Korb, und den beiden Mädels Lieschen Müller und Bree. 

In 2005 we saw an Australian Shepherd for the first time and we were so fascinated by this breed that we directly knew: We want an Aussie too! Meanwhile we have a small pack consisting of Shaggy, "the cook of the walk", and the two girls Lizzy and Bree.

Im Oktober 2006 besuchte ich das erste Mal eine Ausstellung der Aussies (ASCDe.V. Conformation Show in Meckenheim) und war ziemlich beeindruckt von all den schönen Hunden und auch dem ganzen Geschehen auf der Show. Ungefähr ein Jahr später startete ich dann selbst auf einer Show das erste Mal mit einem Welpen und von da an hatte mich das Showfieber ebenfalls gepackt. Bei Maike war es ähnlich. Im Oktober 2008 stand Maike dann das erste Mal im Showring. Neben unseren eigenen Hunden stellten wir damals auch schon die Hunde anderer Züchter und Besitzer sehr erfolgreich aus.

In october 2006 I visited a dog show for Aussies from the ASCDe.V. for the first time and was quite impressed with all the beautiful dogs and everything that happened on the show. Nearly one year later I had my first start with a puppy on a show and from that moment I was infected by the dog show fever. With Maike it was pretty much the same. In october 2008 she stood in the show ring for the first time. In addition to our dogs we showed the dogs from other breeders and owners very successfully.

Heute sind unsere Hunde nicht mehr im Showring präsent. Daher können wir uns nun auf den Shows voll und ganz auf unsere „Show-Hunde“ konzentrieren. Neben dem „normalen“ Handling war ich und Maike ist es immernoch aktiv im Junior Showmanship. Da ich nun leider zu alt dafür bin (man darf bis man das 18te Lebensjahr erreicht hat starten), läuft nur noch Maike im Junior Handling und das äußerst erfolgreich. Ich bin mitterweile Junior Richterin und darf auf ASCA Ausstellungen das Junior Handling richten.

Today, our dogs are no longer present in the show ring. Therefore we can now concentrate fully on our "show dogs" on the shows. Besides the "noraml" handling I was and Maike still is present in the Junior Showmanship. Due to the fact that I am now too old for the Junior Showmanship (you can start until you are 18 years old), only Maike is still competing in the Junior classes and that extremely successful! Meanwhile I am an ASCA Junior Judge. That means I am allowed to judge Junior Showmanship on ASCA Shows.

Im Moment trainieren wir mit unseren Hunden Rally-Obedience. Shaggy startete bisher als einziger auf Rally Trials und das super erfolgreich, sodass er sich dort schon die ersten Titel sichern konnte.

At the moment we are training Rally-Obedience with our dogs. Shaggy is so far the only one who started at Rally-Trials and that very successful and earned his first Rally titles.

Im Jahre 2012 hatte unser Lieschen ihren ersten Wurf von 3 bezaubernden Hündinnen (siehe unter Lieschens Seite). Im Oktober 2014 hatten wir noch einmal das große Glück Welpen aus Lieschen und dem bezaubernden Gustave bekommen zu dürfen. Alle 7 Welpen wachsen zu wunderschönen Hunden heran und bereichern ihre Familien Tag für Tag. Die Welpen aus diesem Wurf können Sie unter Nachzucht oder auch 3 von ihnen unter Co-Owned und dem einzelnen Namen ansehen.

In 2012 Lizzy had her first litter of 3 adorable girls (see on Lizzy's page). October 2014 we had the pleasure to have puppies out of Lieschen by the stunning Gustave. All 7 puppies are growing into beautiful dogs and enrich their families day by day. You can see the puppies out of this litter on our offspring page. 3 of them have their own page under Co-Owned dogs.  

Die gesunde Ernährung unserer Hunde ist uns sehr wichtig. Daher füttern wir ausschließlich biologisch artgerechtes rohes Futter, kurz - BARF.

The healthy food of our dogs is very important to us. Therefore we only feed raw food.
